New York City, February 12, 1977. A quiet Saturday morning gliding down Second Avenue in New York City. Fellow gliders in the stretched limo include Bob Hart then the UK’s number one rock writer, with front man par excellence Freddie Mercury of Queen and myself loaded with film cameras. A stop at 53rd; Street at an antiques store where Freddie was told of a rare antique stand for a favorite valued item. A rare moment of solitude and good manners from a musician who, in ten hours would transform into one of the world’s greatest contemporary performers as the “front-man”/ singer with Queen, near blowing the roof off Madison Square Garden with his combustible performance,

The recent Oscar winning performance by Rami Malek in the movie Bohemian Rhapsody has turned the spotlight back on this late, great performer.
